We were thrilled to be asked by the ladies at The Unfiltered Bride Podcast to create a show-stopping cake for their Manchester event and of course, we delivered and we did NOT hold back!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The theme for the event was all about pink, glitter, confetti and glamour, with The Menagerie Restaurant as the backdrop - which is a sophisticated, modern and on-trend setting with a luxurious edge.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We created a huge cake featuring alternating black tiers for added drama and impact, alongside silver tiers that mirrored the panes of a disco ball. We airbrushed rice paper sails with different hues of pink (and a subtle sheen for extra sparkle), adding a contrasting and fabulous feel to the black tiers.

They asked for a head-turner of a wedding cake, and that’s exactly what they got 💫

Her design skills are truly remarkable - she created a cake that was the perfect visual representation of what we had imagined for our special day.

The gorgeous Pantone colour of the year was added to my go to sugarpaste @couturesugarpaste, to achieve this beautiful light Mocha Mousse shade. The perfect base and contrast to some fabulous wafer paper ruffles, baroque detailing and a little touch of hand painted gold.
